Remembering Moses …

April 22, 2008

Pat Boone writes about his friend Charlton Heston:

He marched in Selma with Martin Luther King, and I wrote and recorded a number of civil rights songs, including “I Had a Dream.” He became the spokesman for the National Rifle Association, but really, for the Second Amendment and the Constitution itself – for America, as our Founding Fathers conceived it.

Amendment 2 – Right to Bear Arms.

Ratified 12/15/1791

A well regulated Militia,

being necessary to the security of a free State,

the right of the people to keep and bear Arms,

shall not be infringed.
